    The Titanic compared to a Moedern Cruise Ship

    • It’s crazy how far we’ve come technologically and engineering-wise in a century.
      The Titanic was as big as they could build at the time. That in itself a major accomplishment compared to decades and centuries earlier. And now our modern cruise ships absolutely dwarf the Titanic.

      I get the same feeling when I look watch the Wright Brothers footage at Kitty Hawk and then the jumbo jet a little over half a century later.

      Here’s another one that I find interesting:

    • Mike, I saw a 5meg drive like that at one of my company’s customers. It was in their main lobby with a sign sayg they had used it in the early 60s.

      As for the posting problems, I post the “Direct Link (email & IM)”. The one that ends in ‘.jpg’ That seems to work.
