This was actually one of the first songs that I heard off of Beyonce’s very first album, outside of “Crazy In Love”…and I have to admit…I had underestimated her from the very beginning. You know, this was at a time where there were a hundred female groups, and a thousand boybands, and everybody was doing the exact same thing over and over again to the point where it was just driving all of us crazy. But…Betonce definitely broke the mold at that time, and is still breaking it today. So tons of respect goes her way for that. And mixing her style with the reggae dancehall music that Sean Paul was becoming hugely popular with due to its crossover appeal…this was a match made in heaven! Well done, folks!
