Chapter 11 – BEING TRUE TO MY LOVE AND MYSELF

“Ah, Jon, can we talk somewhere else,” I said knowing that chances were that others would be coming into the bathroom.

“Sure, let’s take a walk,” Jon said as he made his way to the door. “Maybe we can hit the lake and talk.”

There was a very bright glimmer in his eye as he said that. I wasn’t sure whether that was a good idea, but getting out of the washroom was. I followed him as he made his way down the stairs.

As we left the dorm, Jon started to head toward the park and I followed. We didn’t say anything for quite a while. I was very curious about what Jon had begun to say in the washroom. “I don’t know, Jon. You just have to trust him. You are his brother and I think that will overcome all.”

“Oh, I will. I plan on that over Thanksgiving. I think it is time.”

“Good, great plan.”

We headed back through the park and entered the dorm. As we entered the main doors, there was Brandon waiting. He didn’t look too happy. I was positive that he was worried, concerned, and mad.

I said good-bye to Jon and Brandon and I headed back to the room. When we got in, we shut the door and Brandon headed directly to the chair by the desk. He sat down and gave me a look that could kill.

“Okay, where did you go and what did you do?” he shouted.

“I want to correct you there, Bran. He wants US!”

“Tom will be fine with that, you know that,” Brandon said. I could see that he believed me which made me know that he indeed loved me as much as I did him.

“Yes, but I wasn’t going to tell him that. That is up to Tom to tell Jon. But, I did tell him to talk with Tom and that I thought Tom would understand.”

I told the story to Brandon. By the time I finished, he and I were on the bed, again, close to each other. I also told him what Jon had asked about having sex — the three of us.

“I told him that would be a decision you and I would make together. I also told him I love you and that was the most important thing to me.”

“Actually, I wouldn’t mind that, Bob,” Brandon answered now being more serious. “Last night, with Dave and Tom here I sort of thought about it.”

I realized right there and then why Brandon and I got along so well. We were on the same wavelength. “Oh, really?” I said trying to look shocked.

“Yea, but I think he knows about Dave and me,” Tom said, seeming very concerned about that fact.

“Well, if he does, he’ll tell you. Has he said anything that would make you think that he is upset with you?”

We both smiled at each other then walked back to the table. We all talked during dinner. I ate quickly and Brandon picked up on that. He, too, ate quickly and we left shortly after we arrived.

“Jon was telling Tom, wasn’t he?” Brandon said as we headed back to the room.

“I think he was trying, but Tom was worried more that Jon knew about him and Dave. They are BOTH in for a surprise, ” I said with a smile on my face.

It was now bedtime. The time of day I looked forward to most since I met Brandon. We had thought about pushing the two twin beds together, but decided that the dorm-maids wouldn’t understand and might start talking.
